Read the following passage and answer the questions given below: -

Binya was a poor little girl living with her mother and an elder brother, Bijju, in a very small hilly village of Garhwal. One day while herding her two cows Neelu and Gori back home, she stumbled upon some city people enjoying the picnic in the valley. She was enthralled to see the blue frilly umbrella which they had with them. She began craving for it. On the other hand, the city people got attracted by her innocent beauty and the pendant on her neck. The pendant consisted of leopard’s claw – which was considered a mascot widely in the hills. Binya traded her pendant off with the blue umbrella.

The blue umbrella was so beautiful that soon it became a topic of conversation for the villagers. The children adored her umbrella so much that every time they felt like touching or holding it. Binya was on seventh heaven and rarely closed it because she believed it looked charming when it was opened.\

Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions that follow: Theodoric had been brought up by his mother, screening him from the hard realities of life. When she died she left  Theodoric alone in a world that was as real as ever. He had been staying at a country vicarage, the inmates of which had been certainly not brutal.
