                    :India of my dream:

A dream is an ideal situation which all of us want to achieve. When we talk about our country - like any other possession of ours we also dream to be a citizen of a country which would be considered as the world leader- in terms of all aspects.

India has a rich cultural tradition , It has a rich history and it has always been considered to be a country of the ideal status throughout the world.Since time immemorial people from the European countries and other parts of the world have come to our country and utilised its rich resources for the fulfilment of their short term and long term desires.  

I desire to be a resident of a country , where there would be no discrimination based on caste , sex and religion - the country should achieve the true spirit of the Constitution of India .We want a recognition to be one of the most developed country of the world - the recognition which United States of America currently acquires.

Currently India holds a position of a Developing Country in the world and of course we the Indians want our country to acquire  the status of a Developed one.In order to achieve this I believe India needs to improve itself on a few aspects .First of all , even after attaining 75th anniversary of the independence of the country , we must get rid of the superstitious believes and traditions . In many locations birth of a girl child is not much welcomed in our country . Although with the recent Governmental initiatives like "Beti Bachao beti padhrao" and " Kanyasree" the situation has improved to a great extent but still we the Indians need to upgrade ourselves to a great extent in order to ensure a steady progress of our country. 

It is really unfortunate that our country has a high rate of brain drain. Many of the scholars are going abroad for their higher studies or job opportunities.They don't rely on our existing Education system or the prospects of growth.    If we consider the history of India , our country has made a significant contribution in terms of spreading Education as well as in terms of generating concepts. The idea of the number "zero" first originated in India . India always has been a resourceful country and a centre of attraction for the foreign Invaders .   

The medical facility available in India cannot always be referred as inadequate but the availability of the facilities is not uniform everywhere.There are some remote corners of the country , which are still devoid of getting  good doctors or proper medical aid in the government Hospitals or free clinics. So they are forced to depend on the Private nursing homes who often take the monitory advantage of the situation.We badly experienced the ill effects of lack of medical facilities while we encountered Covid 19 .

Poverty alleviation is a big challenge in front of us. After Urbanisation and Industrialisation we have come across a new economic class of beggars who are reluctant to upgrade their status , This nuisance is only existing in our country because we the common citizens also encourage them in an indirect manner by offering them a part of our hard earned money .In order to eliminate the problem of poverty , we should encourage people to be literate and acquire the bare minimum education which is available free of cost . Government have arranged for the evening classes , they are also providing mid day meals and many other privileges to encourage more people to continue their studies and they are also motivated to send their children to school , but I believe until and unless we ensure a mass awareness in this regard, we cannot think about improving the drop out rates.The greatest strength of the developed countries like the United States of America or the United Kingdom , is that majority of their population are highly qualified and aware of the advancements in the technology .

In order to convert our dreams into a reality , we need to practically implement all the above mentioned up gradations . Then only we will be able to improve the position and status of our country and thereby solidify our strengths and opportunities to ensure a smooth journey towards the zenith of our desire.And thereby one day we will make the following dream of the Bengali people a reality-

"Bharat abar Jagat Sabhai Sreshthyo Ason lobe"

The grandfather's House

The Lithosphere

  The outermost solid surface layer of the atmosphere is called Lithosphere. It is also called Crust. The word lithosphere is derived from Greek word "lithos" which means "stones". The surface of the earth is not flat . It is uneven, with different kind of landforms - mountains, hills, valleys and plateaus. The crust is covered by the thin layer of soil . The lithosphere is the realm of the Earth, through which most of the needs of human beings are fulfilled. Land is needed for human settlements . Soil is essential for agriculture. Industries get vital minerals and other raw materials from the lithosphere .
