school uniforms are necessary essays

School Uniforms should be compulsory . Do you agree with this statement ?

A uniform is a dress of a school or an army . The sole purpose of uniform is to establish a sense of equality. In a school uniform should be made compulsory in my opinion . It has many beneficial impact in the mind of growing children. It gives a sense of identity to everyone who wears it. It forces all the children to develop a sense of oneness among themselves. Now a days due to the financial differences existing in the society , students from different economic status come to school and mix with each other . Had the school authorities allowed casual dress – there would have been a tendency among the students to establish a superiority in terms of wearing expensive dress materials and it would surely create an unhealthy competition among the students and would hamper the basic purpose of the studies .In fact, school plays a very vital role in nourishing our mindset . So if we all are habituated from our childhood days to develop a mindset of equality in society our future generation would be able to overcome the evil of class differentiation which often attempts to engulf the basic morality of us and makes ourselves a self centered being.

The social distinction between the rich and poor which is a limiting factor detrimental for the establishment of a true democracy which very much exist in our society should not be allowed in the pious school environment , where pupils go to get knowledge and the value education on morality and ethics. Moreover , it provides an identification of the school. A student can hardly dare to do some major mischief or misbehave with someone while wearing a uniform. There is always a fear in their mind to be caught .This fear is good . It can help them develop themselves to be a morally good individual devoid of evil intention.

When someone is wearing a uniform he or she becomes little more alert about his or her behavior.  It induces a Sense of Professionalism among pupils , it makes them mentally prepared that they are becoming more and more responsible . In a way it provokes them to consider themselves to be a part of a big organization where they have to shoulder big responsibilities. The academic years in school is also a  time period for the moral upliftment of a student and by the introduction of a uniform indirectly the school makes the students believe in the essence of oneness, adjustment and negotiation- it indirectly accelerates the possibility of strengthening brotherhood in future by abating the causes of conflict in the society. It escalates tolerance among the juvenile minds and thereby ensures a secured future for the sustainable Development of the country.

In a nutshell , we can conclude that Uniform performs a vital role in establishing Uniformity in the mindset of the different segments of the society .It ignites a combination of sense of Identity and pride   which really plays a pivotal role in ushering the sense of Unity in the country. It is rightly said  :"It's a great feeling for me just to put my uniform on and be part of my team." ~ Johan Santana

The Lithosphere

The outermost solid surface layer of the atmosphere is called Lithosphere. It is also called Crust. The word lithosphere is derived from Greek word "lithos" which means "stones". The surface of the earth is not flat . It is uneven, with different kind of landforms - mountains, hills, valleys and plateaus. The crust is covered by the thin layer of soil . The lithosphere is the realm of the Earth, through which most of the needs of human beings are fulfilled. Land is needed for human settlements . Soil is essential for agriculture. Industries get vital minerals and other raw materials from the lithosphere .

Reading comprehension 1

Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions that follow: Theodoric had been brought up by his mother, screening him from the hard realities of life. When she died she left  Theodoric alone in a world that was as real as ever. He had been staying at a country vicarage, the inmates of which had been certainly not brutal. On a particular day he set out on a journey by train. The pony carriage that was to take him to the station had never been properly ordered; and when the moment  for his departure drew near, The handy man who should have helped him was no where to be found. In this emergency Theodoric found himself obliged to collaborate with the vicar daughter in the task of harnessing the pony which necessitated groping about in and ill-lighted stable which smelt of mice. As the train gilded out of the station, Theodoric's clothes were giving out  an odour of mice. The only other occupant of the compartment, a lady of about the same age as himself seem...
