What Precautions should one take while facing an Online interview

A new hazard that we are facing right now is online interview . Attending an online class for chatting with the friends online is completely different from and online interview the difference is that here a candidate's evaluation depends to a great extent on certain factors beyond their performance in the interview in an online interview there are certain limitations :  Although the technology has enabled us to avail a face to face meeting sitting at the homely comfort however  we need to be alert regarding many small small aspects that might be detrimental in case we don't pay attention to these apparently minute issues the result might be dangerous even it may  lead to  one's rejection in the interview process .  For a successful online interview  it is mandatory for both the interviewer and interviewee to be able to listen to each other clearly so  we should use quality electronic devices in order to ensure proper audibility our microphon...

Is it worth to judge a candidate by his/her reading , writing, listening and speaking skills

Reading , Writing, Listening and Speaking Skills- are the basic requirements of a professional to be successful. Interview is nothing but a platform to Pre judge whether a candidate will be suitable for a given job or academic environment - where he or she will be frequently exposed to highly sophisticated and high profile professionals, so these basic skills are the prerequisites in the selection process. In general we do practice a lot of Reading in our academic course but those patterned way of reading may not be adequate for meeting the needs of a professional life or for higher studies. In this process of selection an aspirant gets an opportunity to get an exposure to complex paragraphs which in turn helps him or her in future to furnish his successful professional and academic career. During our school life, we wrote essays, letters, reports but most of the cases we blindly followed the pattern from the books specially in terms of language and vocabulary . It was not mandat...

Anger Management

Anger is one of the biggest enemies of human being. There are many stories of breaking things, where angry people exposed their wrath on delicate things and broke them into pieces by mercilessly throwing them. Does it really help in mitigating once irritation? If I am angry with a particular person and I am unable to to unveil my vexation   at that Specific individual, should  I choose someone relatively timid in nature as a scapegoat to get rid of the unbearable mental instability? If we think of an empty well devoid of water-can anybody fetch water from this particular well? Probably no. right!!! Similarly if we become like the Sun which is so full of energy that nobody dares to attempt abating the heat of the Sun. The lights developed with the scientific advancement that could convert the dark evenings as luminous as the sunshine- those amazing lights are also controlled by a switch; but the natural light of the Sun can never be controlled by a switch .Simi...

Imagine that you have been granted three wishes .what would you wish for? Describe the changes that would take place in your life after this

It is rightly said that "A man's worth is no better than his ambitions"  A wish is nothing but to  feel or express a strong desire or hope for something that cannot or probably will not happen. It is important to have a wish because it is the driving force that can help us  gain confidence to go forward and accept the challenges of life. We always wish that our expectations must be fulfilled. As a result many movies are there on this topic and we often see the most cherished moment of the fulfillment of all our desires in our dreams. I often imagine in my day dream   that I have been granted three wishes! I wonder what wish should I express to my benevolent magician who would approach me in the utopian world to fulfil all my aspirations! If I get such a unique opportunity to make my three most cherished ambitions come true I would definitely impart my first preference for getting rid of the invisible tiny virus - that has made my life miserable. In fact I s...

The Biosphere

The biosphere is the narrow zone of contact between land (lithosphere) , water (hydrosphere) and air (atmosphere) , where life forms exist . It is called the living world or the biological environment . Every thing in the biosphere is interconnected and interdependent. Use of Biosphere Forests are source of timber, fruits, nuts, resins, lac and medicinal herbs. Forests are the natural habitats for various plants and animals. forests help moderate atmospheric temperature by absorbing carbon di oxide and adding moisture to the air through transpiration. Many animals depend on forests and grassland for their food. Humans in turn dependent on animals as a source of food. Some people are dependent on animals to carry heavy loads.

Blue Planet

Hydrosphere is derived from the word " Hydro" which means "water". It refers to the water on the Earth. The Earth is called Blue Planet because 71% of its surface is covered with water and only 29% with land. Water is found as solid  ice in glaciers and ice sheets. Water is found as liquid water in  Oceans, rivers , lakes , ponds and underground streams. Water is found as Vapour in the Atmosphere. Water moves continuously from one form to the other and this movement is called Water cycle. Water is essential for maintaining a water balance. It is important for survival of human beings. Needed for domestic and industrial usage. we should prevent  water from pollution and wastage.

The Atmosphere

The layer of air that surrounds the Earth is called the Atmosphere.  It is a mixture of gases , dust and water vapour. The word Atmosphere is derived from the word "atmos" which means "vapour". The gravitational force of the Earth holds the atmosphere around it. Use of Atmosphere It provides the life giving gas Oxygen and exhale Carbon di oxide. it acts as a blanket and keeps the Earth warm by trapping the heat that radiates from the Earth.(terrestrial radiation) It protects life from harmful rays and the scorching heat of the Sun.

The Lithosphere

The outermost solid surface layer of the atmosphere is called Lithosphere. It is also called Crust. The word lithosphere is derived from Greek word "lithos" which means "stones". The surface of the earth is not flat . It is uneven, with different kind of landforms - mountains, hills, valleys and plateaus. The crust is covered by the thin layer of soil . The lithosphere is the realm of the Earth, through which most of the needs of human beings are fulfilled. Land is needed for human settlements . Soil is essential for agriculture. Industries get vital minerals and other raw materials from the lithosphere .

Our Environment

Environment Consist of  The natural environment  The human made environment. The natural environment consists of Physical environment and the biological environment. 3 major components of physical environment The Atmosphere The Lithosphere The Hydrosphere They are the Abiotic or Non Living Components of the Natural Environment. Biosphere: It is the narrow zone between  the atmosphere, the lithosphere and the hydrosphere where all life forms exists. It contains the biotic or the living components of the natural atmosphere and supports plants, animals and other living things.

Role of women in Civil Disobedience movement

What are Acid Base indicators

An Acid Base Indicator is a substance that give different colours in acidic and basic media. Litmus, Turmeric, Red cabbage and China-rose - give different colours in  acidic and basic media. Litmus: It is obtained from certain litchens (small plants)-it turns red in acidic and blue in basic solution. Litmus paper is a finger sized strip of paper which is soaked in the litmus solution and dried . It is convenient to work with as it also turns red in acidic and blue in basic solution.  Phenolphthalein: A dilute solution of   Phenolphthalein (a colourless chemical) turns red or pink in basic solution and is colourless in acidic and neutral media. Causes for Earthquake and Volcanic Activity

Tectonic Process: It is a process that acts over the years and creates major landforms. The Lithosphere is broken into several pieces known as Plates. These plates float on the soft layer of mantle .This is a partially molten material that causes the plates of the earth to move relative to each other. As the plates move they push, pull, slide, rise, sink , bend and break. This is called Tectonic process. The process is named after the Greek word "Tekton" which means a builder. Plate movement causes Volcanic activity and earthquakes specially at the margins of the plates.

As a part of the community service week organized by your school, you and your friends were sent to an orphanage . Describe your experience in detail.

Visit to an Orphanage is really a unique experience that induces a mixed feeling in our mind . The moment I entered the orphanage, I felt both happy and sad at the same time when I saw children playing, fighting with each other, crying, laughing, cribbing about certain things dancing, and so on. These children are really talented; some of them are good at singing and some good at dancing, Simply observing their talent makes one feel happy and makes one  wish to spend as much time with them as possible. After spending sometimes, I realized that most of the children are left here either because the family did not have financial means to take care of them or they just abandoned them.  It is unfortunate how these children are in a ripe age but have already lost a significant part of their childhood ,they had no one to give them a name, no one to understand and care for them, no one to take them out, and no opportunity to go to school. Children of various ages were there ,wh...

school uniforms are necessary essays

School Uniforms should be compulsory . Do you agree with this statement ? A uniform is a dress of a school or an army . The sole purpose of uniform is to establish a sense of equality. In a school uniform should be made compulsory in my opinion . It has many beneficial impact in the mind of growing children. It gives a sense of identity to everyone who wears it. It forces all the children to develop a sense of oneness among themselves. Now a days due to the financial differences existing in the society , students from different economic status come to school and mix with each other . Had the school authorities allowed casual dress – there would have been a tendency among the students to establish a superiority in terms of wearing expensive dress materials and it would surely create an unhealthy competition among the students and would hamper the basic purpose of the studies .In fact, school plays a very vital role in nourishing our mindset . So if we all are habituated from our chil...

Sustainable Development

Sustainable Development is the economic development that is conducted without depletion of natural resources. It encourages us to conserve and enhance our resource base, by gradually changing the ways in which we develop and use technologies. Countries must be allowed to meet their basic needs of employment, food, energy, water and sanitation. Sustainable development is important as it saves national budget, fulfills the need of people, conserves natural resources, helps in the coordination between the natural resources and people and conserves natural resources for future generation. There are 3 primary objectives of sustainable development: Economic growth – building a strong, competitive economy, by ensuring that sufficient land of the right type is available in the right places and at the right time to support growth and innovation; and identifying then coordinating development requirements. Environmental protection – contributing to protecting and enhancing our natural and develo...

On your way home from school, you witnessed an accident. Write about what happened, who was/were injured, the reactions of the bystanders and what you could do to help

It is rightly said that an accident won’t arrive with a bell on it’s neck. The day before yesterday I became an unfortunate eye witness of a mishap. It was absolutely like a bolt from the blue. Like the other days, I was returning from school at around 4 pm when all on a sudden I was in a melting pot . Neither could I tolerate the suffering of the victims nor could acquire the courage to step forward and help them.  I was waiting in the zebra crossing when I noticed a young mother with her two kids did not follow the signal and tried to cross the road and they were knocked down by an upcoming bus which lost control because of the uncertainty of the event .The mother was spot dead and the small children were severely injured. The bystanders were very angry with the driver , But some onlookers said the fault was not of the driver . The entire road was flooded with blood stains . They arranged a car to hospitalize the children immediately. Although there were many pedestrians b...
